NACCIMA lauds Gov. Ugwuanyi for supporting businesses.
The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has lauded Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for supporting the business sector and enhancing technology in the state.
The National President, NACCIMA, Mr John Udeagbala gave the commendation on Tuesday at the 33rd Enugu International Trade Fair currently holding in Enugu.
Udeagbala, represented by the South-East Vice-President, Mr Humphrey Ngonadi, said that Ugwuanyi and his administration’s support for the association was enormous.
He said that the leadership style of the governor cut across all sectors of the economy, especially in business and investment.
According to him, Ugwuanyi’s investment in two important areas of Enugu Tech Hub and Youth Investment Centre has led to youth empowerment and environment.
“Your excellency, it is worthy to note also that your contributions to private sector and small-scale business is highly recommendable.
“The sector still needs further encouragement to do more in order to add real value to the economy of the state,” he said.
Speaking on the theme “Opening up Nigeria Business Window for Competitiveness in the emerging Global Market“, Udeagbala said the fair offers exhibitors an opportunity to showcase their products.
“This offers business and transaction opportunity beyond national borders and global market offers business growth and competitiveness among investors.
“This has brought about quality output of goods to the national economy,” he said.
He explained that Nigeria market had taken its rightful place in the international market.
