Babajide Kolade-Otitoju reacts to claims that he attacked Osinbajo on Journalist Hangout
Babajide Kolade-Otitoju took to his Facebook page to react to rumors that he attacked the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, during his show called “Journalist Hangout.” According to him, people asked him if he had actually verbally attacked Professor Yemi Osinbajo during his show.
Babajide Kolade-Otitoju revealed that people claimed that they read a news article on Facebook that stated that he (Babajide) verbally attacked the vice president. He debunked the allegations, stating that neither he nor his co-host, Emeka Madunagu, attacked Osinbajo.
According to him, he only alerted the vice president to the kind of questions Nigerians would ask after his declaration in the coming days. Emeka Madunagu said people on Twitter reportedly asked why the vice president couldn’t stop the ASUU strike, as he is a former member.
Emeka Madunagu only mentioned that Professor Yemi Osinbajo should get ready to be chastised now that he has joined the presidential race ahead of 2023.
Babajide Kolade-Otitoju revealed that he personally opines that the more people in the presidential race, the merrier it will be. He also stated that he is patiently waiting for the aspirants to outline their mission through debates.
He also advised that political parties should make the presidential contest a level playing field for all contestants and that Nigerians should be allowed to decide if Osinbajo is the best man for the job. See his post below.
