Worst mistake made by Ancelotti despite qualifying for the UCL semi finals
The UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals Second Leg Tie Between Real Madrid And Chelsea was indeed an interesting one as the match ended in a 2-3 scoreline, and 5-4 aggregate score.
The both teams played to their best performances to ensure that they win the match tonight, however, Real Madrid’s outstanding performance tonight earned them the victory.The goal from Mason Mount in the first half of the match, and the subsequent goals from Antonio Rudiger, Timo Werner gave Chelsea the come back against Real Madrid, however, the goals from Rodrygo and Karim Benzema cancelled the come back from Chelsea.
However, there was a tactical mistake made by Real Madrid’s coach, Ancelotti.
Playing a defensive ball at home was the worst mistake made by Ancelotti tonight. Real Madrid was already leading the match, and as such he would have urged his players to come out and attack instead of playing a defensive ball. This mistake lead to them conceading goals against Chelsea.
Another mistake made by him was his late substitutions. Ancelotti made his substitutions against Chelsea, and it would have costed him the match tonight against Chelsea.
