Wike commends Gov. Bello for doggedness, youths’ involvement in his administration

Governor Nyesom Wike during his presidential campaign in Kogi State, paid courtesy visit Governor Yahaya Bello, where he commended the Kogi governor for his doggedness and involvement of youths in his administration.

Governor Bello is also a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Wike stated that irrespective of political leanings, political leaders should shun acts capable of causing division and strife in the polity.

Governor Bello, appreciated Governor Wike for the visit, explaining that he is also aspiring to succeed President Buhari and build on his successes and achievements.

Bello had said: “When the time comes, I know we are going to collaborate and join hands together to build this country. Parties are just vehicles, just like you said, that will convey us to our different destinations and the destination is a prosperous, peaceful and united Nigeria and by the grace of God, we shall join our hands together to build it.”

Wike has continued to make remarkable difference in his campaign for the PDP 2023 presidential ticket. Not too many aspirants, if any, had considered visiting the governor of state who is in the opposition party in the state they went to lobby party members for support. Governor Wike has separated ambition from patriotism.
