Nigeria is a safe haven for dubious plastic surgeons – Filmmaker, Mary Remmy
Filmmaker and actress, Mary Remmy Njoku, has said that Nigeria provides a safe haven for questionable plastic surgeons.
Njoku’s comments come days after it went viral that a young lady died at a Lagos clinic after a cosmetic procedure.
In a post on her Instagram page on Friday, Njoku questioned the intent of these doctors, who set up clinics, charge in Naira, offer reduced rates and still do promos on plastic surgeries.
She said, “Nigeria is a safe haven for bad IJGB cos-surgeons. Small accent and you are in business. Thanks to gullible Nigerians who make sure they continue killing people by BLAMING THE VICTIMS. SAD.
“To those very few doctors who come home to save lives, Thank you.”
