Reno Omokri reacts to video of IPOB saying there will be no election in their region
Reno Omokri, a popular Nigerian Public Commentator and Human Rights Activist has shared a video of members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) taking to the street and saying there will be no election.
In the video, the young men were seen with IPOB flag and singing in Igbo, “onye tuo vote, ona n’ugwu hausa” meaning anyone who wants to vote should go to the north.
While reacting to the video, Reno Omokri said he hope election will hold in the southeast region due to what the IPOB members in the video were doing.
He said they did a similar thing in 2019 and create fear in people which affected the number of votes the region recorded.
His tweet read, “I sincerely hope there will be elections in the Southeast. This is similar to what happened in 2019, which resulted in the SE having the lowest voter turnout in 2019, because IPOB pulled this same stunt and only lifted its embargo a few days to the election”Watch the video here
