Nigerians in diaspora host Peter Obi in 5 U.S. states
Nigerians resident in the United Sates (U.S.) have invited the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, deliver speeches in five U.S. states.
Obi in a video posted on social media, disclosed he will be engaged with Nigerians in the U.S. from Wednesday, August 31 to Saturday, September 3. Obi highlighted: “I am a guest speaker on the Role of Nigerian Diaspora in Development and Growth of Nigeria, events being organised by Nigerians in Diaspora.
“The events will hold in Charlotte, North Carolina and Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, Aug. 31; Washington D.C. on Thursday, Sept 1; Atlanta on Friday, Sept 2 and New York on Saturday, Sept. 3.
“I look forward to meeting all of you there and God bless all of you.”
Obi had interacted with Nigerians in diaspora in certain countries which include Germany, Italy, and Canada on invitation.
The Labour Party presidential candidate was in the Vatican City, Rome, for the promotion ceremony of Bishop Peter Okpaleke of Ekwulobia Diocese to a Cardinal in the Catholic Church.
