Pregnancy is a complex process that requires a good and healthy lifestyle. It is so pathetic that most pregnant women don’t know some of the habits that can negatively affect their baby in the womb. In this piece in line with a publication with “Healthline”, we shall be looking at some common habits that can harm pregnant women.
Eating raw eggs
Although eggs are part of the foods recommended for pregnant women due to their health benefits. A study has found that eating raw eggs regularly during pregnancy can increase your risk of developing different kinds of health challenges including your baby.
Believing everything you read
Drinking Alcohol
This is very dangerous to your health as well as your baby. Avoid wine, beer, and liquor during your pregnancy. This is because alcohol passes quickly from your bloodstream through the placenta and umbilical cord to your baby, and this can harm your developing baby’s brain and organs.
Sitting or standing for too long
When you are pregnant, it is not advisable to always remain in the same position either sitting or standing for too long. It can affect your health and that of your baby. Try as much as possible to move around if you’ve been seated, or to put your legs up if you’ve been on your feet.
