Family marks slain Bamise’s first posthumous birthday
The family of Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who went missing after boarding a bus in Lagos and was later found dead, is marking her first posthumous birthday on Wednesday.
Bamise went missing when she boarded a bus belonging to the Bus Rapid Transit scheme at the Chevron area of Lekki en route to Oshodi on February 25, 2022.
According to the flier shared with our correspondent, a memorial service will be held in the Oko-Oba, Agege area of Lagos State.
Andrew Ominnikoron, the BRT vehicle driver accused of raping and murdering Bamise, is facing four counts of conspiracy, rape, and murder.
