Faleke debunks alleged rift with Gbajabiamila
Member of the House of Representatives, Abiodun Faleke, has said that there was no confrontation between him and the Speaker of the House, Olufemi Gbajabiamila, stating that such insinuations were a figment of the imagination of rumour mongers.
Faleke made this known in a press release shared on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
He said, “I have read about my alleged confrontation with Mr Speaker, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila at the Lagos Caucus meeting which took place at his residence a few days ago.
“There was no such confrontation between us rather, what I did was to clear the rumours of disagreement.
“ I made it clear to my other colleagues that such insinuation was just a figment of imagination of the rumour mongers. Please ignore such insinuations and the tissue of lies.”
A Twitter user, #Imranmuhdz, had on Monday alleged that there was a confrontation between Faleke Femi Gbajabiamila during the Lagos Caucus meeting over misinformation.
He wrote, “James Faleke confronted Femi Gbajabiamila at the Lagos Caucus meeting and accused him of misinformation to the public on the issue of the speakership, saying that Abbas’ adoption was Gbaja’s ‘personal agenda and not a decision of the party or Tinubu’s.’ Femi Vs Falake War.”
