Gunmen kill University don in Ibadan
Gunmen have killed Professor Opeyemi Ajewole of the University of Ibadan.
Ajewole, who was a professor of social and environmental forestry, was murdered at Olororo, Ojoo area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital at around 9pm on Monday.

The gunmen went away with his Toyota Corolla car. He was said to be on his way home when he was attacked.
A fellow staff of the university confirmed the incident, saying: “It’s true. He was killed last night when he was returning home at Olororo area near Ojoo. The incident happened around 9pm and they took away his car.”
The co-staff described Ajewole as a ‘pleasant person, humble and easy-going’
