The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang has said he will work with all legislators representing Plateau State at the National Assembly, irrespective of party affiliations.

Muftwang said partnering with the legislators will hast the desired development needed in the State.

The Governor stated this at the weekend in Bassa LGA, near Jos, when he attended the Inauguration Reception and Thanksgiving Ceremony of Hon. Musa Agah, a member Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

“I pledged to work together with all the National Assembly members from the State to bring the desired development to the people.

“Agah is a reliable representative and I have held him in high esteem having demonstrated capacity in a short period at the House of Reps during the 9th Assembly”, Muftwang said.

Represented at the event by the Deputy Governor, Mrs Josephine Piyo, the Governor also described the Lawmaker as a great performer and prayed for him not to fail his people.

Responding, Agah pledges to stand firm to defend and give robust representation to the People of his Constituency who have suffered insecurity challenges over the years.

“I organised this Inauguration and thanksgiving service here in my remote village to appreciate my constituents from Bassa and Jos North who stood firm irrespective of tribes and religion to elect me as their Representative.

“Being an experienced legislator and not a first timer, I pledge not to fail”, he said.

Agah added that he will be a voice to the People by presenting bills that will affect them positively.
