The transfer speculation of Tottenham super star Harry Kane has once again dominated the media space.

The likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich have since shown interest in the 29-year-old.

And while the former had appeared to have cooled their interest in Kane, the latter have remained keen for the signature of the England skipper after already reportedly making two different bids for him.

Though Tottenham have appeared to remained resolute in keeping their talisman as they insisted that he is not for sale, but the report reaching National Daily now suggests that Kane may still leave the north London club after all.

Tottenham  manager Ange Postecoglou while insisting that he is ‘not losing sleep’ over Harry Kane’s future has however hinted that one thing could still lead to his departure.

With just one-year remaining on his contract, Kane has been widely-tipped to leave boyhood club Spurs this summer.

This therefore means that a move to Bayern Munich may still materialize especially after it has been claimed that the striker has reportedly agreed personal terms and is keen on the transfer having met with manager Thomas Tuchel.

Though Spurs were believed to have turned down the German giants’ opening offer, with a second bid worth £70million also likely to be rejected with Daniel Levy desperate to hold onto his prized asset.

In his first press conference since joining the club from Celtic, Postecoglou said he would attempt to convince the 29-year-old to stay in north London.

The Aussie was defiant that the transfer speculation, which is sure to dominate the headlines for the next two months, won’t affect him, saying: ‘If I say it’s annoying me, it would be misleading – it doesn’t register.

‘I always believe that you’re much better trying to understand what a situation is through your own eyes. In my head right now, Harry’s on holiday, he’s on a sunbed and playing with his family and having a great time. That’s the picture I’ve got.

‘Now, if other things are going on I’m not going to think about it and the reason I don’t is because he’ll be here in two days’ time and everything I need to know will be sitting right in front of me.

‘So in the meantime, I’m not going to lose time or sleep on conjecture because then you’re jumping at shadows – how much of it is true, how much of it is not true?

‘Nothing’s landed on my desk at this moment from anybody at the club to say there’s a decision to be made there. Not even close to that, so because of that I’m looking forward to having Harry here on Wednesday.’

Kane is Tottenham and England’s all-time record goalscorer and was easily his side’s best player last season, scoring 30 goals, so it is no surprise whatsoever that Postecoglou is keen to work with him as he attempts to revitalise the club’s fortunes.

However, he did suggest that he could be forced to sell the Three Lions captain should the transfer talk begin to affect his and his teammates attitudes in the dressing room.

‘Again, it’s something I have no control over. What I will deal with is, as I have in the past, what I see day to day,’ he added.

‘Is it affecting the group? Is it affecting Harry? That’s the only time it will maybe register. It won’t affect me.

‘I doubt somebody like Harry would let it affect him in any sort of way because this football club means too much to him and he wouldn’t let it infiltrate the dressing room.

‘I guess it’s how we react as a football club that’s going to be important and that will get tested, for sure.’
