Tinubu departs Kenya for Nigeria as AU meeting ends
President Bola Tinubu has departed Nairobi, Kenya, for Abuja, at the end of the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU).
The President who departed Abuja on Saturday for the A.U. meeting in Kenya is scheduled to arrive Abuja on Monday.

President Tinubu made several contributions during deliberation at the AU meeting, some of which touched on how Africa can attain integration and prosperity; and relieving Africans from languishing in pain and anguish, including Africa’s unity and strength, making strong rejection of a new scramble for the African continent.
The Nigerian President had also enjoined African leaders to respect democracy, rule of law, and ensure political stability.
President Tinubu may, however, be returning home to be welcomed with the rancour in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which snowballed into the resignation of the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, who leads the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
