Atiku griefs over death of Campaign DG
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, on Tuesday, expressed grief over the death of a committed supporter during the electioneering campaign, Muhammad Dakat.
Muhammad Dakat was Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM) in the 2023 electioneering campaign.

Atiku, in a statement on Tuesday, declared: “As Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM), Muhammad brought a huge dose of enthusiasm and inspiration to the assignment of mobilizing compatriots in the last general election.
“Even after the election, he was unwavering in his commitment to the cause.
“Muhammad was a rallying point for young people and a natural leader who led by his convictions and personal example.
“We have lost one of the most Atikulated members of our family at such a young age.”
Atiku’s statement reads: “I have just been briefed about the passing of Muhammad Dakat. As Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM), Muhammad brought a huge dose of enthusiasm and inspiration to the assignment of mobilizing compatriots in the last general election. Even after the election, he was unwavering in his commitment to the cause. Muhammad was a rallying point for young people and a natural leader who led by his convictions and personal example. We have lost one of the most Atikulated members of our family at such a young age.
