Bandits place N4m ransom on kidnapped NYSC member
Bandits have placed N4 million as ransom on one of the eight National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members recently kidnapped in Zamfara State.
The eight members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were kidnapped by the bandits on a highway in Zamfara State. The new graduates were said to be traveling with an Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) bus from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to Sokoto State, for the mandatory National Service when the bandits intercepted their vehicle and took them away to unknown destination.

“Since that time, they have not called and I have not spoken with my daughter. I don’t know if they have released them but my daughter has not called me.”
The family would need to cough out N4 million to secure the release of the victim.
