Sani commends UNILAG students
Senator Shehu Sani on Friday commended students of the University of Lagos, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, for their protest of the increase in fees by the school authorities. The protest resulted in the reduction of the fees by the authorities.

Sani had on Thursday declared support for the protest of the UNILAG students, saying that the protest was the right thing for the students to do, and advocated that students in other universities should embark on similar protest in their campuses.
The UNILAG management, after a meeting with leaders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), including faculty presidents, conceded to reduce the school and hostels fees on Friday.
