Robbers kill Police Officer, flee with car
Gunmen, suspected to be robbers, shot dead a police officer and fled with his Toyota Camry car on the Port Harcourt – Enugu Expressway of Imo State.
The spokesman of the Imo State Police Command, Andrew Enwerem, said the gunmen were about five in number and had attacked the deceased while he was driving on the expressway. He promised that the killers would be brought to book.
Recall that gunmen had only recently attacked Orie Mbieri police station in the state killing officers and carting away guns and ammunition.
