A Nigerian lawyer, Chidimma Susan Ezenyili has collapsed and died just 6 months after relocating to the UK
Suzy, who was working as a caregiver was said to have collapsed at work on February 22, and sadly passed away 2 days after.
The 37-year-old had struggled to work because she was resolved not to abandon her elderly client, Ian Hale in Scott Road, 86, who she has been working for the past 5 months.
Suzy and her husband Friday left Nigeria in August 2023 for the UK and both have been working as caregivers on sponsorship visas to give their toddler daughter, Mandy, a better life
Speaking about Suzy’s demise, Hale’s daughter, Catherine Segal, said, “She was driven there by her husband with their 3 year-old daughter as she wasn’t feeling well but didn’t want to let my dad down.”
After she slumped, she was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where doctors discovered she had suffered a severe brain haemorrhage.
