Finally, Liverpool and Arsenal hand the EPL title to Man City
Liverpool and Arsenal seemed to have finally handed the EPL title to Manchester City. Liverpool yet again fumbled at Anfield with 0-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon. In a similar fashion, Arsenal had missed the chance of returning to the top of the log with a 0-2 defeat to Aston Villa at the Emirates later on Sunday evening.
Two goals in four minutes for Villa have seen the Gunners fans hope for the EPL title evaporate before them. The 84th and 87th minutes goals from Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins respectively had thrown Arsenal fans in great shock and disbelief.
The 5-1 victory for Manchester City against Luton Town on Saturday had since helped the Etihad side ascend to the top of the table with 73 points after 31 games.
Liverpool dealt their title hopes a major blow following a defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday. Eberechi Eze’s sole goal for Palace saw the Reds suffered yet another shock defeat at Anfield in four days.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were punished for a poor start by Eze after 14 minutes and then failed to take a host of chances in a frustrating second half on Sunday.
Klopp’s hopes of a glorious send-off are rapidly fading after last week’s draw at Manchester United. This is coupled with the Reds’ midweek Europa League implosion against Atalanta.
Arteta’s hope of finally laying claim to the EPL title seemed to have been heavily dented. This is following Arsenal throwing their fans into heavy disbelief after their shock defeat to their former manager Unai Emery.
As the race for the EPL title rages on, Pep Guardiola may stop at nothing to retain the EPL title.
