Chelsea capitalized on a poor defensive performance from West Ham, securing a comfortable 3-0 win at the London Stadium, highlighted by Nicolas Jackson’s first-half brace.

Jackson opened the scoring early, taking advantage of what Michael Dawson on Soccer Saturday described as “criminal” defending. After exchanging passes with Jadon Sancho, Jackson slotted the ball past goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from a tight angle.

West Ham’s defensive lapses continued as Moises Caicedo found Jackson unmarked, allowing him to calmly net his second goal.

Frustrated home fans expressed their dissatisfaction with new manager Julen Lopetegui, booing his decision to substitute Summerville and again at the final whistle.

While West Ham struggles at home, Chelsea’s victory marks their third consecutive away win in the Premier League, showcasing an impressive start for manager Enzo Maresca.

The scoreline could have been even more lopsided, with Noni Madueke denied by Areola, and substitutes Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku also coming close to extending Chelsea’s lead in the closing minutes.
