The Body Lyrics Global Elite Club successfully hosted the 8th edition of its annual Possibility 9ja event on October 1, 2024, under the theme Keep Your Head Up.
The event, an inspiring convergence of sports, fitness, and empowerment, brought together elite athletes, fitness professionals, and community leaders to emphasize discipline, focus, and opportunity as pathways to success in Nigeria.
Organized by Coach Dare Drelee Agboola, a pioneer in Nigeria’s para-taekwondo community, the initiative enjoyed the backing of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development, PLUS BJ’S WORLD , and the Abesan Estate community.
The star-studded event featured notable figures in sports and fitness, including Juliana Faustinus, a celebrated Olympian and former D’Tigress player, and Cole Emmanuel Abayomi, also known as Lakecole, an EQF Level 4 fitness professional and CEO of The Fitness Room.
Juliana Faustinus, a three-time All-African Games gold medalist and AfroBasket assistant coach, shared her journey of resilience and focus. “Basketball gave me a platform to achieve greatness, but it also demanded discipline and a commitment to excellence,” she remarked during her keynote address.

Faustinus, who now heads J&F Academy Care Ambition and serves as the assistant coach at Comet Basketball Club, emphasized the importance of channeling lessons from sports into everyday life. “It’s not just about the game; it’s about the mindset. Stay disciplined, stay focused, and above all, keep your head up,” she urged participants.
Cole Emmanuel Abayomi, known for his expertise in high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and body conditioning, underscored the role of fitness in achieving personal and professional goals.
“Fitness is more than physical; it’s mental strength and perseverance,” he explained. As the CEO of The Fitness Room, Abayomi highlighted how staying fit builds confidence and resilience, qualities essential for navigating life’s challenges.
The event also spotlighted the untapped potential in Nigeria, with speakers encouraging attendees to explore opportunities within sports, fitness, and community development.
Coach Agboola, the event’s visionary, noted, “Nigeria is full of possibilities, but it requires determination and focus to seize them. This event is about showing our youth what they can achieve with the right mindset.”
Community leaders present at the event praised its impact. A representative from the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development described the initiative as “a crucial platform for inspiring young Nigerians to aim higher and embrace positive values.”
Now in its 8th edition, the Possibility 9ja event has become a hallmark of community development, blending inspiration with actionable insights. Participants left with a renewed sense of purpose, encouraged to apply the lessons of discipline and perseverance from sports and fitness to their lives.
