Senate declares Edo Central Senatorial District vacant
The Senate, on Wednesday, declared the Edo Central senatorial seat vacant after holding valedictory session for Senator Monday Okpebholo, who is now Governor of Edo State.
The Senate has, accordingly, instructed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a new election to fill the vacant seat.
The Senate held valedictory session earlier int he day to bid farewell to their former colleague who is now presiding over the affairs of Edo State as a Governor.
