Mystery in Lokoja as 21-year-old social media content creator found dead
The Kogi State Police Command has launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a 21-year-old woman, Christiana Olatunji, whose lifeless body was discovered in a roadside gutter in Lokoja, the state capital.
Olatunji, a student of one of the tertiary institutions in Lokoja and a native of Fehinti-Kabba in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, was also known for her vibrant presence as a content creator on social media platforms.
Her death has sent shockwaves through the local community and online circles.
According to eyewitness accounts, Christiana was last seen earlier last week at a popular lounge in Lokoja, where she was reportedly in the company of a female friend.
Following her unexplained disappearance, friends and local security personnel began a search for her, which tragically ended on Thursday when her body was found dumped in a gutter along a major road in the town.
One of her close friends, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been arrested by the police and is currently assisting with the investigation.
Authorities believe the suspect may hold vital information that could unravel the circumstances surrounding the death.
