Jetour Nigeria unveils X70 Plus SUV, promises premium comfort, safety features

Jetour Nigeria has unveiled the Jetour X70 Plus, a next-generation premium Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that blends intelligent mobility, luxury, and rugged performance for the Nigerian auto market.

The launch marks a significant upgrade from the brand’s earlier model, the Jetour X70, and introduces a vehicle engineered to meet the demands of both city drivers and off-road enthusiasts.

Touted as Jetour’s fastest-selling model globally, the X70 Plus comes fully loaded with advanced technologies and comfort features aimed at delivering an elevated driving experience in Nigeria’s dynamic road conditions.

According to Jetour Nigeria, the X70 Plus is designed to cater to families, professionals, and lifestyle users, boasting a spacious 7-seater layout, a refined interior, and robust safety enhancements.

The SUV is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including: Driver, Passenger, Seat, and Curtain Airbags; Vehicle Stability Control; Hill-Start and Hill-Descent Assist; Electronic Parking Brake and Auto Hold System; Auto Lockout and Automatic Door Lock System.

For easier parking and navigation, it also features 360° 2D/3D Panoramic Parking Cameras, along with front and rear sensors, helping drivers handle tight city spots and challenging terrains.

Under the hood, the Jetour X70 Plus offers two turbocharged engine options: 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre, delivering up to 145kW (194hp) and 290Nm of torque, paired with a Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT) for smooth and responsive driving.

Its 20-inch alloy wheels, elevated ground clearance, and strong terrain grip make it suitable for Nigeria’s challenging road network, while retaining a refined, urban-ready ride quality.
