Paraguay stun Germany on penalties to reach World Cup last 16

Paraguay pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the FIFA World Cup after defeating Germany 4-3 on penalties to book a place in the Round of 16.

The knockout clash ended 1-1 after extra time, forcing a dramatic penalty shootout in which the South Americans held their nerve to eliminate the four-time world champions.
