BREAKING NEWS: Shouts of joy rock the world as Pastor Chris opens final Healing Streams edition for 2026
Hundreds of millions participate in the three-day global healing crusade as the LoveWorld President ministers to the sick in Healing Lines before praying for a worldwide audience projected on giant screens.
Shouts of joy and jubilation rang out across the world as hundreds of millions of participants joined the opening day of the final edition of the 2026 Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris (HSLHS), as the President of LoveWorld, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, DSc, DSc, DD, began ministering to the sick.
The atmosphere was filled with celebrations, thanksgiving and praise to God as participants across the globe rejoiced over healings from various ailments. Many were seen rising from stretchers, wheelchairs and crutches, celebrating their remarkable experiences of healing during the global programme.
The three-day event, which commenced on Friday, October 23, 2026, holds special significance as the final Healing Streams edition of the year, bringing the year’s global healing services to a climactic close with a message centred on faith, the power of God’s Word and the expectation of divine intervention.
In a remarkable sequence during the opening-day service, Pastor Chris first ministered to the sick brought before him in the Healing Lines, reminiscent of the healing encounters recorded in the Bible. He subsequently turned his attention to the global audience, praying for participants connecting from nations across the world as their images were projected on large screens.

As the Man of God ministered to those before him and extended his prayers to the worldwide audience, celebrations reportedly erupted across participating locations, with people rejoicing over healings they attributed to the power of God.
From the Healing Lines to the global audience, the service brought together participants across national boundaries in an atmosphere of faith, prayer, expectation and thanksgiving.
‘YOU ARE RIGHT NOW IN THE PRESENCE OF DESTINY’
Welcoming participants to the global service, Pastor Chris described the gathering as a divinely appointed moment, urging everyone connected to the programme to recognise its significance and make a conscious decision to believe God’s Word.
“I want to welcome you specially to this very predestinated service. You are right now in the presence of destiny,” he declared.
“Before you were born God planned this very hour for you. It’s a special moment in your life. And you’re going to have to do what you choose with it. Make up your mind you’re going to do the right thing with it.”
The declaration set the tone for Day One of the final Healing Streams edition of 2026, as participants from different nations united in faith, prayer and expectation.
The programme opened with a teaching centred on faith as a personal choice and the importance of acting on the promises of God.
‘BELIEVING IS ALWAYS A CHOICE’
In his opening-day message, Pastor Chris explained that human beings have been given the capacity to believe and act on their convictions, describing faith as an important aspect of the human experience.
“There is something that God made possible for human beings. Animals don’t have it. Angels don’t have it. Of course Demons don’t have it. It was only given to human beings; and you have to do something with it,” he said.
Emphasising the importance of faith in God, he added:
“Your Faith in God is important. Only Humans are given the capacity to act on their faith, to believe and act accordingly.”
Pastor Chris challenged the notion that some people are incapable of believing, explaining that belief is a choice individuals make.
“Some people say, ‘I can’t believe.’ But every human can. You choose to believe or not believe. It’s always a choice,” he declared.
He illustrated the simplicity of believing by pointing to how children naturally trust the words of their parents and act on their promises.
“Believing is very simple. Even children learn to believe while they are very young. If Mummy or Daddy makes a promise to a child, they believe and act on the word that Mummy or Daddy spoke. They don’t need a seminar on believing,” he said.
According to Pastor Chris, faith is already an integral part of everyday human life, with people routinely trusting institutions, professionals and systems without personally verifying every detail.
“You have faith in the school; that’s why you attended it. You have faith in your neighbour; that’s why you chose to live next to him,” he explained.
He challenged participants to apply the same principle of believing to their relationship with God.
“But when it comes to the things of God, you say, ‘I don’t know.’ Well, that was your choice,” he said.
‘THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IS THE POWER OF GOD TO SAVE’
Drawing from Romans 1:16, Pastor Chris underscored the importance of believing the Gospel, explaining that faith is central to receiving the salvation offered through Jesus Christ.
“The gospel of Christ is the power of God to save. If you don’t believe it, it cannot save you. You have to believe it to be saved,” he declared.
He explained that, according to the Christian faith, God had already accomplished His work through Jesus Christ, while the individual’s responsibility was to believe and receive what Christ had done.
“God has already done His part in Jesus Christ. Your part is to believe in what He did,” he said.
The teaching laid the spiritual foundation for the healing service, with Pastor Chris encouraging participants to approach God’s promises with confidence rather than uncertainty.
‘FEAR NOT! BELIEVE ONLY’
A major highlight of the opening-day teaching was Pastor Chris’s reference to the biblical account of Jairus and his daughter, recorded in Luke 8:41–56.
Jairus, a synagogue leader, had approached Jesus for help because his daughter was dying. While Jesus was on His way to the house, news arrived that the girl had died.
Pastor Chris drew attention to Jesus’ response to the devastating news, emphasising the instruction to reject fear and continue believing.
“Sometimes when you are believing God for something, the condition can get worse. But Jesus said, ‘FEAR NOT! BELIEVE ONLY AND SHE SHALL BE MADE WHOLE,’” he declared.
He explained that Jesus did not allow the report of the girl’s death to override His response to Jairus’ original request.
According to the minister, the account demonstrates the importance of maintaining faith even when circumstances appear to contradict what a person is trusting God to do.

“Don’t struggle. Only believe,” he urged.
Pastor Chris also referred to Mark 9, which recounts the healing of a boy tormented by a demon, highlighting the father’s appeal to Jesus for compassion.
Through these biblical accounts, he encouraged participants to remain steadfast in their faith, even when faced with difficult or discouraging circumstances.
SHOUTS OF JOY AS PASTOR CHRIS MINISTERS TO THE SICK IN HEALING LINES
As the service progressed, Pastor Chris began ministering to individuals brought before him in the Healing Lines, praying for the sick in scenes reminiscent of the healing encounters recorded in the Gospels.
The ministration was followed by celebrations as participants rejoiced over reported healings from various ailments, giving glory and praise to God.
Many were reported to have risen from stretchers, wheelchairs and crutches, while others celebrated improvements in their physical conditions and shared testimonies of their experiences.
The atmosphere was marked by thanksgiving, with participants expressing joy over what they believed God had done in their lives.
The Healing Lines formed a significant part of the opening day’s proceedings, bringing individuals seeking healing before the minister for prayer.
But the global healing ministration did not end with those physically present before him.
FROM THE HEALING LINES TO THE NATIONS: PASTOR CHRIS MINISTERS TO THE GLOBAL AUDIENCE
Following his ministration to those in the Healing Lines, Pastor Chris turned his attention to the global audience connecting to the service from nations across the world.
In a remarkable extension of the healing ministration, the images of participants joining the programme globally were projected on large screens as the Man of God prayed for them.
The global audience, representing participants from different countries and communities, became the focus of the next phase of the service.
As Pastor Chris ministered in prayer, participants around the world reportedly erupted in shouts of joy and thanksgiving, celebrating healings they attributed to the power of God.
The celebrations were reported across participating locations, with many rejoicing over changes in their physical conditions and others sharing testimonies of renewed hope.
The moment underscored the international reach of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris, which connects participants across geographical boundaries through its live broadcasts.
For those unable to attend physically, the service provided an opportunity to participate in the prayer and healing ministration remotely.
From those brought before him in the Healing Lines to participants projected on large screens from across the globe, the healing ministration became a defining moment of Day One, with celebrations and thanksgiving directed to the glory and praise of God.
‘BELIEVE THE WORD, NOT THE SYMPTOMS’
Pastor Chris further explained the relationship between faith, God’s Word and healing, drawing from several passages of Scripture, including Leviticus 17:11–14, John 6:54–63, John 1:14 and Proverbs 4:20–22.
He explained that Jesus’ words concerning His flesh and blood must be understood in the context of the spiritual life communicated through God’s Word.
Referring to John 6:63, he highlighted Jesus’ declaration that it is the Spirit who gives life.
He connected this to John 1:14, which declares that the Word became flesh and dwelt among humanity, explaining that Jesus was the Word of God manifested in human form.
“It was not about eating His body. It was about receiving His Word. If you received His Word, you received Him. You got everything,” he said.
The minister also cited Proverbs 4:20–22, which describes God’s words as life to those who find them and health to their flesh.
According to Pastor Chris, God’s Word carries the life it communicates, and receiving that Word in faith is central to experiencing its benefits.
“Through the Word of God, we can all receive the life that He gives. Wherever you are in the world, when you receive His Word, you receive His life,” he declared.
He further cited Jesus’ declaration in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
Reinforcing the message, Pastor Chris declared:
“The Word of God is truth. It is reality.
“It doesn’t matter what the symptoms are telling you. Believe the Word, not the symptoms.”
He urged participants to place their confidence in God’s Word rather than allowing symptoms or adverse circumstances to determine their expectations.
A TESTIMONY OF RESTORED MOBILITY
During the message, Pastor Chris referred to a testimony from a participant who said doctors had told him he would not be able to walk again but who subsequently regained the ability to walk and run.
The testimony illustrated the healing experiences being celebrated during the programme and reinforced the minister’s message about maintaining faith in the face of difficult circumstances.
The reported healings and testimonies became a source of encouragement for participants who joined the service with expectations of receiving prayer and experiencing a change in their conditions.

‘HE IS TRULY HERE’
As the service continued, Pastor Chris reminded participants of Jesus’ promise concerning His presence among those gathered in His name.
He encouraged the global audience to believe that the Lord’s presence was not restricted by geographical boundaries or physical distance.
“Jesus said when we are together in His name He is right there with us. Can you believe it? Only believe,” he said.
He challenged participants to accept the words of Jesus as absolute truth, emphasising the importance of trusting His promises.
“Believe that what He said is absolute truth. He never exaggerated. He never lied to anyone. Anything he ever said was absolute truth. So He is truly here,” he declared.
The statement reinforced the atmosphere of faith and expectation surrounding the programme as participants continued to celebrate the healings they reported and give glory to God.
‘EVERY CONDITION WILL BE REVERSED TO PERFECTION’
Concluding his message, Pastor Chris expressed confidence in God’s power to bring healing and restoration to those participating in the global service.
“Every condition will be reversed to perfection. You will be made whole,” he declared.
The pronouncement captured the spirit of the opening day, as participants across the world joined in prayer, worship and thanksgiving, with reported healings prompting celebrations in participating locations.
THE FINAL HEALING STREAMS EDITION OF 2026 CONTINUES
As the final edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris for 2026 continues over its three-day schedule, the opening session has set the tone for the remaining services with a message centred on faith, the power of God’s Word and the expectation of divine intervention.
The significance of this edition extends beyond the opening day’s proceedings: it represents the final Healing Streams gathering of the year, bringing together a worldwide audience for a concluding season of prayer, healing and testimonies.
Day One brought together two defining elements: Pastor Chris’s teaching on the necessity of believing God’s Word and the subsequent ministration to the sick, first in the Healing Lines and then to the global audience projected on large screens, even many were gathered in Churches and Crusade Grounds around the world.
As participants celebrated the healings they attributed to God’s power, the programme’s message of faith and hope reached audiences across national boundaries.
From the Healing Lines to the nations, the defining declaration of the opening day remained unmistakable:
“ONLY BELIEVE.”
With two more days of the final 2026 edition ahead, participants are looking forward to the continuation of the global service in an atmosphere of faith, expectation and thanksgiving to God.
