Beware of fraudsters – Delta Deputy Gov warns
The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, has raised alarm over several social media accounts on different platform opened in his name. He decried the use of the fake accounts to defraud people, cautioning that social media users should beware of such fake accounts opened in his name.
Then Deputy Governor admonished the public to disregard communications with those platforms or the users accounts.
Otuaro in a posting on his facebook wall declared: “It has come to my knowledge that several fake facebook/social media accounts have been opened in my name Barr. (Deacon.) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro.
“These facebook and other social media platforms in my name have been used to defraud or attempted to defraud the unsuspecting public.
“The general public is hereby informed and advised to discountenance the financial advances in any form on these platforms by these fraudsters.
