Onu appeals to Abians to support Buhari administration

The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, has called on Abians to support the present administration under President Mohammadu Buhari, at the federal level and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the state, to bring the desired change in the state.
Onu who made the call during a visit at the palace of Eze B O Enweremadu at Ahiaba Ngwa Ukwu for the annual Izu Ngwa Festival, said that in a bid to get federal amenities in the state, Abians must support the Buhari led Federal Government.
Onu, who was the first civilian Governor of Abia State, extolled the Eze Ukwu Ngwa Ukwu for his role in promoting the people’s culture and prayed God to continue to use him to rightfully position Ndigbo in the comity of Nigeria tribes.
Earlier in his speech, the traditional ruler who is also the head of Ngwa land, and the Eze Ukwu Ngwa Ukwu, Eze B O Enweremadu, used the occasion to call on Abians to support Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to enable his administration to succeed.
The royal father also appealed to Governor Ikpeazu to ensure that he actualizes his electioneering promises to Abians and particularly, as it concerned traditional rulers in the state.
He thanked Ogbonnaya Onu for honoring his invitation to the festival.
