By Esther Egbe
President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick has debunked news making the rounds in the media that he’s keen on replacing current CAF President Ahmad Ahmad, National Daily gathered.
Pinnick, who insisted that developing and improving the game on the continent remains his number one priority, was reacting to news credited to an online media, that he was willing to go head to head with Ghana FA president for who becomes the next CAF boss.
“Amaju told our reporter , I was in Lagos to meet with stakeholders of the game but I never made any statement or told anyone that I was running for the CAF seat. These are just lies that have no basis,” .
