As a result of paucity of fund as the team is not attached to the Nigeria Football Federation, it had to depend on public donation to finance its trip to Mexico where the competition is holding.
National Daily gathered that the Nigerian team had missed two editions in the past and was at the brink of losing its status in the competition if it abstains from the Mexico event .
The Amputee World Cup in Mexico begins on Saturday.
The Nigerian team left in two batches before Mikel opted to pick the fight tickets of the remaining squad members and also kit the entire team.
