Fani Kayode, others react to Buhari’s inability to produce credentials
Inability of President Muhammadu Buhari to submit his credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of 2019 elections has been eliciting reactions from Nigerians home and abroad.
Recall that same thing happened in 2014 while preparing for the 2015 general elections which later won. President Buhari had given the excuses that his certificates were with the military.
On his twitter handle, Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, said: “Once again Buhari has refused to submit his WAEC certificate to INEC. Once again he says that it is with the military authorities.”
He said even though he has been Commander in Chief for the last few years, Buhari has been unable to retrieve them. “May God save Nigeria from this man,” he tweeted.
For Kola Ologbodiyan, spokesman for the PDP, integrity demands that Buahri write to military authorities asking them to forward his credentials to INEC.
Even @MBuhari followers are not prepared to accept NEPA Bill for WAEC in 2019. So, Mr. President, Wey your certificate?” he tweeted.
Buhari did not tender any academic record to become President, INEC conspired with APC to install a WAEC-LESS President. The whole world must see this, dont stop retweeting. Cc: @BBCAfrica @CNN @AJStream @USEmbassyAbuja @UKinNigeria pic.twitter.com/4x5vkCCrzW
Another tweets by Ebube Statesman said the manager of relegation bound lifeless FC, Buhari, is involved in another Certificate Evasion Scandal.
“The embattled Manager is seeking a New Contract at the Club but is yet to file his Coaching badge before the FA. Pic.twitter.com/NKGKbQifVE’
“The truth is that Nigerians don’t understand with is governance.. Even our judiciary doesn’t understand how to hold their leaders accountable.. How can someone that is running for it the sof President won’t be able to provide his waec? It’s a slap on our democracy — Feelinz 👑 (@FBanks7) October 26, 2018
We are now coming to terms with the fact that President Buhari does NOT have a WAEC certificate. The level of rot, degradation and heap of lies sold and peddled by this administration has reached grandiose proportions -May God deliver us from APC in Jesus Name! pic.twitter.com/DDI4t3K23B
Meanwhile, Lere Olayinka, spokesman of Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, has written an open letter to the military to release the credentials of president to INEC.
