Hajji Gafar Liameed eyes Lagos FA top seat
The race for the top seat in Lagos state football association is gathering pace. As one of the foremost grassroots football promoter and President of 36 Lion fc, Alhaji Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed joins the fray.
National Daily learnt that for close to two decades, Gafar as he is fondly called has been at the forefront of promoting and discovering fresh football talents at the grassroots level and spending millions of his hard earned money.
Gafar’s decision to contest for the chairmanship seat of the Lagos FA has been described by many stakeholders and discerning football enthusiasts as a welcome development.
