Atiku reiterates 40% Youths appointment in Cabinet
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday reiterated his promise to offer 40 per cent of government positions in the federal cabinet to the youth.
The PDP presidential candidate made the reaffirmation while addressing party members and executives from across Kaduna State at a town hall meeting in Kaduna.
The Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and other northern leaders were unanimous that time has come for leaders of the North to take responsibility for the development of the region.
PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, said that the APC government has failed, hence, the need for Nigerians to take advantage of the only credible alternative presented by the PDP.
The town hall meeting was part of the party’s grassroots campaigns ahead of the rescheduled elections.
