Sex-toy Shop Assault: Sen Abbo gets N5m bail
A Federal Capital Territory Magistrate Court has granted bail to Senator Elisha Abbo in the sum of N5 million and two sureties in like sum.
Abbo was arraigned in court over alleged assault of a nursing mother.
He was arraigned on Monday by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police at Zuba Magistrate Court, Abuja after a video of him assaulting the woman went viral.
The Presiding Magistrate, Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Ilellah, said the sureties must have verifiable addresses within the FCT.
The magistrate then adjourned the case to July 22nd for hearing.
Abbo was arraigned on Monday on a one-count of assault.
He pleaded not guilty.
