Abia 2023: APC candidate promises regular payment of workers salary
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Ikechi Emenike, at a town hall meeting with stakeholders on Thursday in Aba, promised regular payment of workers salary in the state, if elected in the 2023 elections.
Emenike noted that ensuring prompt payment of workers salary, would discourage government officials from stealing public fund.
The APC candidate had declared: “We will rescue Abia and develop it and even if Nigeria refuses to develop.
“My vision is to create a world class state by developing Abia beyond people’s expectations.
“Those who destroyed Abia will not continue and you can surely hold me accountably when I become the governor.”
Emenike told the people of Abia State to rise up and vote for credible leaders in 2023, rather than not participating in the electoral process but keep complaining after decisions have been made.
