Adeleke approves N75,000 minimum wage in Osun
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on Friday approved N75,000 minimum wage for workers in the state.
According to the Govenror @AAdeleke_01,
“I am pleased to announce the approval of the sum of 75,000 Naira as the new minimum wage for Osun State civil servants. This is in tandem with our commitment to social justice, economic growth and an enhanced living standard for Osun teaming workers and citizens alike.
“I urge all civil servants in the state to up their service delivery by endlessly seeking innovative solutions to improve public service in ensuring transparency and accountability for the growth and development of the 33 year old Osun State.
“Special thanks to the negotiation committee ably led by my loyal and dedicated Chief of Staff, Hon. Kazeem Akinleye and the leaders of the State Labour Union for their commitment and swift action in concluding this special assignment.
“My administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of civil servants, who tirelessly provide efficient, effective and quality services to the state despite limited resources.”
