Adeleke visits Buhari, commends President for signing Electoral Act
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on Friday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja, where he commended him for signing the Electoral Act, which the said prevented the stealing of his victory in the Osun governorship election, that he won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He noted that the electoral act made the governorship election free and fair in Osun State.

Governor Adeleke said that the visit to the State House, Abuja, provided him the opportunity to discuss other issues of federal assistance with the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
Governor Adeleke defeated former Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 2022 governorship election.
