Aisha Yesufu reacts to the defection of Godsday Orubebe from the PDP to the APC
Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has taken out her time to react to the recent defection of the former Minister of Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
While reacting, Aisha Yesufu stated that Orubebe’s daughter was in the same school with her own daughter, recalling what Godsday Orubebe did when the 2015 election results were being announced. She made it known that Orubebe’s action then was such an embarrassment to his daughter.
Ending her tweet, Aisha Yesufu made it known that eight years later, the same Godsday Orubebe has decided to the same political party.
On several occasions, several Nigerian politicians have left one political party to another, even after swearing that they will never do such. With this move that was made by Godsday Orubebe, it shows that no politician should be trusted for any reason and we should not for any reason fight each other because of any politician.
