Alvan Ikoku College of Education suspends closure, resumes today
The Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education will today resume academic work following the suspension of four months of closure by the management after a violent demonstration by students.
The registrar of the institution, Mrs. Ngozi Aguta, announced the reopening in a statement yesterday
The management of the institution had on July 9, announced the indefinite closure of all
activities, following a disagreement between the institution’s authority and the students Union Government, a disagreement that ended in students allegedly destroying valuable properties.
