Amotekun rescues nine victims of kidnapping in Osun
Amotekun operatives Corps in Ondo and Osun states, coordinating a joint patrol team, on Saturday rescued nine victims of kidnapping in Ipetumodu, Osun State, who were taken away by gunmen at about 10.30pm on Friday.
The State Commander of Amotekun in Ondo, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed that the Amotekun operatives went after the kidnappers who on sighting the state security operatives abandoned the victims and fled for their own lives.
Adeleye, however, noted that the kidnappers took away the personal effects of the abandoned victims, whose lives, he said were more important.
