Another veteran actor rejects N50m to endorse Tinubu 2023 ambition
Barely days after popular Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh, aka Osuọfia said to have rejected a N10 million offer to endorse the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, another veteran actor, Peter Edochie is said to have also rejected the sum of N50m to endorse the former Lagos governor.
It was learnt that APC had offered Nollywood veteran N50m to endorse Tinubu, but he was said to have rejected the money at the mention of “Tinubu” and rightly walked out of the meeting.
Report stated that he warned nobody should ever come to him for APC campaign, that he can’t trade the life and wellbeing of Nigerians for just N50m, “I’m not “Zack Orji” my name is “Pete Edochie” Ebube Dike of Africa,” he was quoted to have said.

Recall that Nkem Owoh, aka Osuọfia was also said to have rejected a N10m offer to join the campaign train.
According to tweets on micro-blogging application, Twitter Monday, the actor said N10 million cannot buy his endorsement as 2023 is critical for the collective good of all citizens and would never be sold.
Reacting to the tweets, the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, tweeted saying, “I have always known Nkem Owoh as a good actor, but didn’t even know he also has standard and integrity.”
