APC holds caucus meeting in Abuja
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently holding a caucus meeting in Abuja.
The meeting is ongoing at the APC National Secretariat at the Central Area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The party assembled to review political developments in the country at the weekend which include the postponement of the 2019 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) which was scheduled to commence last Saturday.
In attendance at the APC Caucus meeting is President Muhammadu Buhari, APC presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections, seeking re-election for a second term, as well as the running mate, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Also in attendance are APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Others at the meeting are APC governors and member of the National Assembly, among other leaders of the party.
After the address by President Buhari who warned against ballot box snatching and other forms of obstruction of the electoral process, the APC Caucus went into closed-door meeting to review recent event and deliberate on the way forward.
