APC holds National Convention May 14
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed the first National Convention of the party since 2015 on May 14, 2018 to elect fresh members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and other executive members for the next four years.
The party also announced dates for state, local government and ward congresses across the country.
According to the transition schedule, the state congresses will hold on May 9, 2018; Local government congresses will hold on May 5, 2018 and Ward congresses scheduled for May 2, 2018.
The emergent leaders will resume office in June 2018 when the tenure of the current leaders elapses.
