Apostle Suleman, Reno Omokri, Aisha Yesufu, others react as gunmen kill many inside church in Owo
Many prominent Nigerians such as Apostle Johnson Suleman, Aisha Yesufu, Reno Omokri, Senator Shehu Sani, and Mercy Eke have been condemning the unfortunate incident that occurred in a Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State on Sunday, in which heavily armed gunmen stormed the worship centre and started shooting sporadically, killing several people and injuring several others
It has been reported that gunmen attacked worshippers in St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday. Reports have it that several people were killed while several others suffered serious injuries at the church, which is close to the palace of the Olowo of Owo.
The Governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has visited the scene of the incident and has vowed to use all resources available to fish out the assailants and bring them to justice
Many Nigerians from different parts of the country and walks of life, including pastors, politicians, human rights activists, and celebrities, have condemned the unfortunate incident.
The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman who reacted via his Twitter handle, criticized the Government for describing gunmen killing innocent Nigerians as unknown. He said history will never forgive privileged people who fold their hands even when tyranny has taken over

Nigerian Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu said Nigerians have not finished dealing with the loss of lives in Agbede, now, another massacre has happened in Owo
She said lives are just being wasted in Nigeria, “corruption killing and terrorists killing”. She then asked what is the value of human life in Nigeria

Another prominent Nigerian who has condemned the evil act is a former Big Brother Naija housemate, Mercy Eke.
Mercy Eke wrote on Twitter, “My heart goes out to families that lost a loved one today in the Owo attack. We are tired,this shouldn’t be happening 💔”
