ATD boss announce postponements of NAMTAXS flag-off date
The CEO of ATD Global Security Services Ltd a lead consultant for Association of Local
Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Ambassador Olakunle Johnson has announced the postponement of the scheduled official flag-off of the National Anti-Multiple Taxation Scheme (NAMTAXS), owing to unforeseen circumstances.
Johnson made the announcement in a chat with newsmen at his office in Lagos, stating that the postponement was basically due to a need to buy more time to conclude preparations for the event.
He also spoke so glowingly about their major partner, MIKANO International Limited, citing the promising discussions as a direct pointer.
Speaking further he said that, “ since the inauguration of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in 154 local governments across Southwest, more time is required by the Committee for them to run around and ensure the eventual success of the event.
“We need reach out to the six Southwest states Governors, Commissioners of Police, all other security agencies including the military and paramilitary functionaries meant to be in attendance as well as other dignitaries.
“Major stakeholders in the haulage business are also key to this launch, so more time is required to deploy our logistics for maximum participation, the new date of the event will be communicated soon.
“We regret all inconveniences this shift in date might have cost our would be staffers all around Southwest, we are however confident another date in November will be communicated soonest” Olakunle Johnson said.
Major high flyers in the industry like Dangote, BUA,Nestle Nigeria Plc, Coca Cola bottling company will also be in attendance .
Being active participants in the transport sector, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), will be attending as well.
