“Atiku will betray Igbo with one-term ticket”
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has revealed how PDPpresidential candidate Atiku Abubakar will betray the southeast if they trust him with his one-term ticket he promised in order to facilitate an Igbo presidency.
The group said the refusal of Iyorchia Ayu to resign as PDP national chairman is proof.
Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, in a statement he signed described Atiku as an unpredictable individual who never keeps to an agreement.
“Ndigbo and Nigerians understand the implications of the transition of power from President Buhari to another Northerner in 2023, particularly to Atiku Abubakar, who is seen as a precarious and unpredictable individual, who never keeps to an agreement,” he said.
“This is the height of hypocrisy and nepotism for the successor of President Buhari to be another Northerner, therefore making it easier for the first time for the North to hold Power for uninterrupted 16 years against the South after many wasteful years of the North in military regimes.
“Ndigbo will consider the adoption of a Southerner for 2023 as the person who will receive Igbo votes.”
Already, LP’s Peter Obi has won the heart of the pan-Igbo group as youth in the region are already rooting for the Anambra former governor.
