Atiku’s likely running mate revealed
The likely running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has been revealed.
In a brief chat with a top PDP chieftain, this publication gathered that the former vice president will most likely pick Emeka Iheadioha, the former governor of Imo state as his running mate.
Atiku won the primary election, defeating the likes of his closest rival, Nyesom Wike, Bukola Saraki, Emmanuel Udom after Sokoto governor, Aminu Tambuwal stepped down for him.
Atiku, during the 2019 election when he won the presidential primaries, chose Peter Obi as his running mate, to balance the issue of south east presidency.
It would be recalled that Peter Obi left the party last week for the Labour party and now, the pendulum has swung to Emeka Iheadioha, from Imo state.
