“With deep sorrow, I acknowledge the passing of Hajia Aya Dada Yar’Adua, the beloved mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Bauchi State, I sincerely sympathize with the Yar’Adua family and their loved ones during this difficult time. I also offer my condolences to the government and people of Katsina State.
