Bandits chase residents out of home in Zamfara

Bandits, in fresh attacks, chased residents of Mada district in Gusau Local Government Area, Zanfara State away from their homes, killed one vigilante, and kidnapped several others. They were said to be shooting sporadically during the attack in the community.

The bandits in their invasion of Mada and the neighbourhood, kidnapped seven persons after killing one vigilante member.

In a second attack on Mada, the bandits chased the locals out of their homes, kidnapping three persons.

The bandits, thereafter, proceeded to Gidan Bangi community in Ruwan-bore, Mada district where they killed 12 persons.

Meanwhile, the Zamfara State government has directed residents of the state to possess guns and fight the bandits to protect themselves.
